It's in the detail....
The treatment sets the pace for this room, while complimenting the hand-painted desk and collectibles, it accents the soft light entering through the sheer treatment. This throw swag is hung on architectural pieces adding texture and another medium to the room's design. Note how the fabric cascades down each side. Designed by Jane Hamilton, The Blind Lady Custom Blinds.
Straight Cornice with Folded Side Panels & Accent Festoons
This treatment adds drama, color and texture to the family room. As you enter this room from the outside you are treated to the beautiful treatment shown here. It acts as the back drop for the room, pulling all the design elements together.
Directly across the room are complimentary cornices with a Hunter Douglas Literise(cordless) Duette honeycomb shade. Due to the nature of the room's layout there was not room for the side panels. So this cornice was chosen to create harmony. This cornice has ultra thick padding and is accented with a horizontal bead and tassel trim.
This is the same trim that is featured on the inside vertical hem of the side panels, the edge of the festoon overlays, and the horizontal edge of the cornice. Designed by Jane Hamilton, The Blind Lady.
Cornice Topped Swag with Jabots and Tails
This traditional fabric adds a dramatic flair to this cozy space. Topping the 3" Hunter Douglas Originale Silhouette, it brings color and warmth to the space. The treatment is accented by both the horizontal beaded trim and the horizontal cording. Designed by Jane Hamilton, The Blind Lady.
Tacked Swag with Tails & Stationary Drapery Panels
When it was time for this busy Mom with twins to create her own sanctuary she turned to The Blind Lady. Working with the existing leather
furniture and the new color choices for the walls and flooring, The Blind Lady was able to assist in finding the perfect fabric. This fabric drapes beautifully and the decorative tie-back compliments the beaded tassels used on the horizontal hem of the valance. Hunter Douglas Matisse 3' Silhouette Shading were featured with this treatment. These treatments were designed by Jane Hamilton, The Blind Lady Custom Blinds.

with Stationary Drapery Panels

Jane Hamilton, The Blind Lady.
